Time to Get Going!

Here it is, June 25... creeping up on July!
'Almost' swim suit season? Forget it! It IS swim suit season!
Time to Get Going Sister!

We're beginning the count down to our half marathon this fall.

I'm off to a good start - Ran 2.5 miles yesterday (Tuesday), + walked .75.
Today, power walked most of the 3.25 miles and ran some stretches.

Have been focusing on eating well, not snacking and making good choices at work. Especially not letting my self get soooooo hungry later in the day that I'm tired starving when I get home.

Have some great snack suggestions for when you start road tripping for work.
I live out of my car - healthy granola bars are essential to get through the day!

Feeling good!
Looking forward to doing some dancing Friday night in E-Ville!

My turn!!
I ran 3 miles on Monday and today (Wednesday). Elliptical Tuesday and tomorrow. My 3rd day of running will be Friday...that makes 9 miles for the week.

Get your running shoes ready cuz we're going for a longer run on Monday!!

So far my downfall has been the cocktails! Just can't say no!!
Will be my biggest challenge during the next few months of training.

8 miles for me this week +10 miles on the elliptical.
Now I just need to eat better (less cocktails!!)
